Iraklis Katsaris works as a teacher in the Greek Ministry of education and concurrently working as PhD candidate at the Hellenic Mediterranean University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Iraklis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He received a Bachelor of Education at the Department of Primary Level Education, Democritus University of Thrace in 2009,and an MSc in Sociology, Department of Sociology, University of the Aegean in 2017. Since 2020 he has been a member and researcher at Natural Interactive LEarning Games Lab (NILE-lab). His research interest are focused on Adaptive Educational Systems, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Theories in Education, Blended learning, Serious Games, Game Based Learning and Gamification, STEM
