About

Konstantinos Iatrou was born in Heraklion Crete, Greece. He received his BSc degree at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, University of Aegean at Lesvos Island in 2015. During his undergraduate studies he created for KETHEA (Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals) of Mytilene the central promotional spot, which was awarded as the best and presented at an international workshop held in Cyprus in 2013. From the October of 2016 until now he is a postgraduate student at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Applied Technologies, Technological Education Institute of Crete. After his undergraduate studies, he worked in numerous projects at the Laboratory of Toxicology and Forensic Science of the University of Crete as technical support, computer maintenance, poster creations, construction and management of the website of laboratory etc. Also, he worked for an IT company in web design and web developing. Furthermore, he has a Lower degree in English, professional degrees in IT skills from Cambridge University, certification of the use of blind system and certification as adult educator of nonformal education. His current research interests are in the following areas: Serious Games, Games-based learning, design of Serious Games through the Unreal Engine Game Platform.
