Vasiliki Eirini (Valeria) Chatzea was born and raised in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. She studied “Health and Welfare Management” at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens where she was offered a scholarship. She holds a masters’ degree in “Public Health and Health Care Management” awarded with excellence by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Crete. At time being, she attends a master program in “Management and Digital Transformation” offered by HMU, while at the same time she is a PHD candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Vidakis Nikolaos, Vice-Rector of HMU. Her doctoral thesis revolves around serious games in nursing education in Greece. She is an experienced scientific writer with several publications in reputable scientific databases (pubmed, scopus), while she serves as reviewer and editor in selected notable scientific journals. In total, she has 478 citations and 12 h-index in Google Scholar. She is a member of the Nile laboratory since 2022.
