Erasmus + International Week at TEI Crete – 21 to 25 May 2018

16 May 2018

We are pleased to announce that Erasmus + (International Week) is being organized at TEI of Crete (Heraklion and Chania) from 21 to 25 May 2018, with the participation of approximately 100 colleagues (professors and administrative staff) from universities abroad. For the first time this year, a relatively large number of teachers (more than 25) come from outside the EU. (such as Kosovo, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Jordan, Palestine, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, etc.).

Our goal during the International Week is to create the conditions for cooperation between the Foundation’s academic staff and colleagues from abroad through lectures given by visiting professors in the respective TEI departments. In addition, we wish to highlight the TEI of Crete by presenting achievements and good practices, both by faculty and administrative staff, through short presentations by Foundation staff members, addressed to all participants (educational and administrative) from foreign universities.

The Heraklion International Week program can be found here and for Chania here, and more information can be found on the website of the TEI’s Office of International and Public Relations. The presentations that will take place during the International Week include lectures in the individual Schools of TEI of Crete, as well as introductory presentations of universities and their respective countries, and are open to all (TEI of Crete staff and students).

Given the benefits and impact that the International Week for TEI community (students and staff) can have, we invite all Foundation staff to participate, as well as teaching staff to encourage students to attend lectures that respond to their studies. and their interests. The success of the event will be judged by the active participation of all of us!

Thank you in advance for your support and involvement, and we look forward to any questions you may have.
